Personal Prayer Time with the Lord

We encourage you to spend at least 30 minutes per day in prayer and ministry to our Lord.  In this time of ministry to the Lord, read the scriptures, sing songs of worship and praise, and pray using the Word, for He watches over His Word to perform them.  Invite the presence of the Lord into your day, then live in the beauty of His holiness.

Matthew 6:9    Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Psalm 97:1     I will sing unto the LORD a new song; for He hath done marvelous things: His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten me the victory.

Psalm 75:1     Unto You O God, do we give thanks, unto You do we  give thanks: for that Your name is near, and Your wondrous works declare.

Psalm 90:17   And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

Psalm 99: 1-3     The LORD reigns; let the people tremble: He sits between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.  The LORD is great in Zion; and He is high above all the people.  We praise Your great and terrible Name; for it is holy.

Psalm 99:9      I exalt the LORD our God, and worship at His holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

1 John 5:11-14      And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.  He that hath the Son hath life….    And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us.

James 2:23       And the scripture was fulfilled which said, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Isaiah 53:4-6     Surely He hath borne our grief, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.     But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.     All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

1 Peter 2:24-25      Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.   For we were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of  our souls.

St. John 3:14-17      And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:    That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.       For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.       For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

Lamentations 3:21-26       This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.        It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.      They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.      The LORD is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I hope in Him.      The LORD is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeks Him.        It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

Deuteronomy 33:26-27        There is none like unto the God of ___________, who rideth upon the heaven to help us, and in His excellence on the sky.         The eternal God is our refuge, and underneath us are the everlasting arms: and He shall thrust out the enemy from before us; and shall say, Destroy them.

Romans 16:20    And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under my feet shortly.  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us. Amen

Matthew 6:12-13       Give us this day our daily bread.      And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.      And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.

Matthew 6:20-22        I will lay up for myself treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:     For where my treasure is, there will my heart be also.       The light of the body is the eye: if therefore mine eye be single, my whole body shall be full of light.

Matthew 6:31 & 33     Therefore I will take no thought, saying, What shall I eat? or, What shall I drink? or, Wherewithal shall I be clothed?         I will seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto me.

Philippians 4:4-8       I will rejoice in the Lord always: and again I will, Rejoice.     Let my moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.        I will be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let my requests be made known unto God.        And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.         Finally, (brethren,) whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,  I will think on these things.

Philippians 4:11-13        …I do not speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.      I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.         I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6      For though I walk in the flesh, I do not war after the flesh:      For the weapons of my warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;       Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;       And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when my obedience is fulfilled.

Ephesians 6:10-19      (Finally, my brethren)  I am strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.   I put on the whole armour of God, that I will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.       For I wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.       Wherefore I take unto me the whole armour of God, that I will be able to withstand in the evil day, having done all, to stand.      I stand therefore, having my loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;    And my feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;       Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.      And the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God:   Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;      (And for me) that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.

Romans 15:1-6      We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.      Let everyone of us please his neighbor for his good to edification.       For Christ pleased not Himself; but as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.       For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.  Now the God of patience and consolation grant us to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:        That we may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.     Wherefore we will receive one another as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

Philippians 1:6    I am confident of this very thing, that He which has begun a good work in me will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Philippians 1:11       I am filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 2: 5-13      I will let this mind be in me, which was also in Christ Jesus:     Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:     But made himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:       And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.    Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name:    That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;     And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.       (Wherefore, my beloved)  I will always obey, (not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence) and work out my own salvation with fear and trembling.      For it is God which works in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

2 Corinthians 2:14-15        Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge by us in every place. For we are unto God the sweet fragrance of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

Ephesians 4:3-7        I will endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as I am called in one hope of my calling;       One Lord, one faith, one baptism,       One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in us all.        But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Colossians 3:12-17    I have put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness,    longsuffering;    13Forbearing with my family, friends, enemies, and forgiving each one, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave me, so also I have done..      14And above all these things I have  put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.      15And let the peace of God rule in my heart, to the which also I am called in one body; being thankful.      16Let the word of Christ dwell in me richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in my heart to the Lord.     17And whatsoever I do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Ephesians 2:4-10     For God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved me,     Even when I was dead in sins, hath quickened me together with Christ, (by grace I am saved;)       And hath raised me up together, and made me sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:      That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in his kindness toward me through Christ Jesus.     For by grace I am saved through faith; and that not of myself: it is the gift of God:       Not of works, lest I should boast.     For I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before (the world) ordained that I should walk in them.

Ephesians 3:14-21      (For this cause) I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,      of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,        that He would grant unto me, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;     That Christ may dwell in my heart by faith; that I, being rooted and grounded in love,        May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;      And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that I might be filled with all the fullness of God.      Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in me,     Unto Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. (Amen.)

Ephesians 4:23-32         I will be renewed in the spirit of my mind;    And I have put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.    Wherefore I will put away lying, and speak (every man) truth with my neighbor: for we are members one of another.      I can be angry, and sin not: I will let not the sun go down upon my wrath:      Neither will I give place to the devil.    (Let him that stole)  I will steal no more: but rather (let him) labor, working with my hands the thing which is good, that I may have to give to him that is in need.        I will let no corrupt communication proceed out of my mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace to the hearers.     And I will grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby I am sealed unto the day of redemption.           I will let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from me, with all malice:       I will be  kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven me.

Ephesians 5:15-20       I will walk circumspectly, not as a fool, but wise,      Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.              I will not be unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.       I will not be drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but I will be filled with the Spirit;        Speaking to myself in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in my heart to the Lord;        Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ;

Colossians 1:9-18      (We do not cease to pray for you, and to)   I desire that I will  be filled with the knowledge of Christ’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10That I might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;       11Strengthened with all might, according to Christ’s glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 12Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made it meet for me  to be partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light:      13Who hath delivered me from the power of darkness, and hath translated me into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom I have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:    15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:     16For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him:    17And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.   18And Christ is the head of the body, the Church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence.

Colossians 3:1-5 &10    I have been risen with Christ, and I seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.      I have set my affection on things above, not on things on the earth.      For I am dead to sin, and my life is hid with Christ in God.     When Christ, who is my life, shall appear, then shall I also appear with Him in glory.      I will put to death therefore my members which are upon the earth.    1And I   have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of God that created Christ:

Hebrews 11:1-6     Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.       For by it the elders obtained a good report.     Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.        By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead, his sacrifice still speaks.       By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.    Yes, without faith it is impossible to please God: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is (exists), and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Romans 1:16-17     For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to me.     For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Romans 4:17, 19-22   By faith I ask God, who quickens the dead, to call those things which be not as though they were.      And being not weak in faith,   (he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb)     20I will stagger not at the promise of God through unbelief; but I am strong in faith, giving glory to God;       And being fully persuaded that, what God has promised, God is able also to perform.     And therefore it is imputed to me as righteousness.

Hebrews 11:33-40       We through faith will subdue kingdoms, bring about righteousness, obtain promises, stop the mouths of lions.     Quench the violence of fire, escape the edge of the sword, out of weakness will be made strong, wax valiant in fight, turn to flight/defeat the armies of the aliens.      Women received our dead raised to life again: and others will chose torture, not accepting deliverance that they might obtain a better resurrection:     (And others, trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yes, even of bonds and imprisonment, being stoned, sawn asunder, tempted, slain with the sword: wandering about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; Of whom the world was not worthy; they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth)        And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

St. John 1:12-16        12But as many as received Christ, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his Name:     13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.      14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.    15John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was He of whom I spoke, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.    16And of Christ’s fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.

Hebrews 12:18-29       For we are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,              And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the Word should not be spoken to them any more:       (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it was be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:          And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)         But we are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,           To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,          And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.       I will see that I refuse not Him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused Him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven:          Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.      And this Word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.    Wherefore we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.
